TEXT_EXPL_XML <p> We reade in holy scripture that the Pro-
        phet Elias was caried thorow the aire in body

        and soule in a firie chariot. By the same
        Metaphor, true and vnfainted worshippers
        ascend euen vnto the heauens in spirite and
        feruent meditation, and that is the cause
        wherefore we are perswaded that the mindes
        and soules of godly men and women are in-
        riched, &amp; recreated with great and heauenly
        consolations. Hereunto also alludeth the
        Poet Ouid, when he maketh mention of Py-
        thagoras vpon these words.
        To God in minde he had accesse,
        And looke what nature hid,
        From fleshly eyes, the same with fight,
        Of heart he hath espied.
       </p>
