        Which done: the <rs>lyon</rs> bad the <rs>asse</rs>, the spoile in partes to lay.<lb/>
        Then he with greate regarde, three partes alike did share:<lb/>
        Wherat, the <rs>lyon</rs> in a rage, the <rs>asse</rs> in peeces tare.<lb/>
        The <rs>foxe</rs> he charged  then, for to performe the same:<lb/>
        Who, all the beste, vppon one heape, did for the <rs>lyon</rs> frame:<lb/>
        And littell of the worste, did for him selfe reserue:<lb/>
        Then beinge ask'd, what taughte him so vnequally tocarue?<lb/>
        This spectacle (quoth hee) which I behoulde with care:<lb/>
        Which showes, those happie that can bee by others harme beware.</p>
