        Neare famished: whome, labour whippes for Ire:<lb/>
        Here, <rs>labour</rs> sittes in chariot drawen with antes:<lb/>
        And dothe abounde with all he can desire.<lb/>
        The grashopper, the toylinge ante derides,<lb/>
        In Sommers heate, cause she for coulde prouides.<lb/>
        But when the coulde of winter did increase,<lb/>
        Out of her hill, the ante did looke for newes:<lb/>
        Whereas she harde the grashopper to cease,<lb/>
        And all her songes, shee nowe with sighing rues:<lb/>
        But all to late, for now for foode she staru'd,<lb/>
        Whereas the ante had store, she had preseru'd.<lb/>
        All which doe warne, while that our Sommer lastes,<lb/>
        Which is our youthe: with freshe, and liuelie strengthe.<lb/>
        Wee muste prouide, for winters bitter blastes.<lb/>
        Which is our age: that claimes his righte at lengthe.<lb/>
        Wherefore in youthe, let vs prouide for age;<lb/>
        For ere wee thinke he stealeth on the stage.</p>
