                                An Arme (for this next Emblem ) doth appeare;<lb/>
                                Which hath to us in silent-showes, commended,<lb/>
                                A Vertue, that is often wanting, here.<lb/>
                                The World, is very studious of Deceipts ;<lb/>
                                And, he is judged wisest, who deceives.<lb/>
                                False-measures, and, Adulterated-weights,<lb/>
                                Of many dues, the needy-man bereaves.<lb/>
                                Ev'n Weights to sell, and, other Weights to buy<lb/>
                                ( Two sorts of weights ) in practice are, with some;<lb/>
                                And, both of these, they often falsifie,<lb/>
                                That, they to great, and suddaine-wealth, may come.<lb/>
                                But, Conscience make of raysing your estates,<lb/>
                                By such a base, and such a wicked way:<lb/>
                                For, this Injustice, God expressely hates;<lb/>
                                And, brings, at last, such thrivers to decay.<lb/>
                                By Weight and measure, He on all bestowes<lb/>
                                The Portions due; That, Weight and Measure, then,<lb/>
                                Which Man to God, or to his Neighbour owes,<lb/>
                                Should, justly, be returned backe agen.<lb/>
                                Give ev'ry one, in ev'ry thing his owne:<lb/>
                                Give honour, where an honour shall be due;<lb/>
                                Where you are loved, let your love be showne;<lb/>
                                And, yield them succours, who have succour'd you.<lb/>
                                Give to thy Children, breeding and Corrections ;<lb/>
                                Thy Charities, ev'n to thy Foes extend:<lb/>
                                Give to thy Wife, the best of thy Affections ;<lb/>
                                To God, thy selfe, and, all thou hast, commend:<lb/>
                                And, lest thou faile, Remember who hath sayd,<lb/>
                                Such measure, as thou giv'st, shall be repay'd.
